CSBD's LLCD group supports Sony’s small to medium sized LTPS and a-Si TFT color display modules for major OEMs and focus on providing customized solutions for high-end mobile devices.  Intended applications include:  smart phones, mobile phones, digital cameras, media players, mobile computing and personal navigation.  

Sony’s industry-leading LTPS VSPEC™ and a-Si Vistarich™ liquid crystal technology targets applications requiring high-pixel densities, high brightness, high color saturation, wide viewing angles, low power, thin design and added functional integration.  Display modes can be either Transmissive or Transflective depending on the device requirements.  Customized designs provide a complete display subsystem with TFT glass, LED backlight, frame and system connection through a FPC.  The electrical interface for data and command can include any of the common standards and formats such as MIPI, MDDI, FL3G, SPI or digital RGB.  Modules can also include a variety of touch input, surface treatments and/or cover lens.
